  1. Thanks, Ashen. The title is from Shelley's poem "The Cloud"… my favourite bit is:Over earth and ocean, with gentle motion, This pilot is guiding me, Lured by the love of the genii that move In the depths of the purple sea;

  2. … to which I meant to add, but pressed 'post' too soon, that quoted bit seemed to fit with the whole process of writing poems, blog posts and the rest.

  3. Ah, found it … over the rills, and the crags, and the hills … in a beautiful small leather-bound edition of Shelley's poems. He was close to the spirit in nature, as poets are – fresh showers for thirsting flowers.I have an unfinished blog post, which includes the notion of Elementals. Hope to put it up later, after collecting more Bramely's and raking leaves in my garden.
